Bonding

Repairing a crack, chip, or discolored tooth is quick and easy at our Mooresville Dentist office!  The procedure can be done in the office and unless the repair is being done on a decayed tooth, no anesthesia is necessary.

The bonding process:

1. The tooth is cleaned and prepped.
2. We match the color resin to your tooth.
3. We apply the resin to the tooth, mold it into place, and smooth out and polish it to match its neighboring teeth as it hardens.
4. That’s it!  Please be aware to stay away from foods and beverages that may stain the resin for 48 hours.  Your bonding will last for years!
