The adventure started over one year ago. As sisters we knew we could have more positive impact on the dental health of people in our community by diving into our own dental practice here in Mooresville.
Dr. Lembo and Dr. Montgomery dental practice is unique being they are sisters and were inspired on their career path by own experiences. They discovered how dentistry can offer a variety of services to people which can truly make a difference in people’s health, confidence, and their life.
Both grew up in Northern Michigan in Cedarville where they had the opportunity to work with their father, Dr John J Scherer DDS, who practices dentistry in their home town. This is where they found the passion for dentistry through involvement with patients giving them the aspiration to join the dental profession.
While both attended Central Michigan University for their undergraduate studies, they took different roads to get to Mooresville, NC.
Dr. Kara K. Lembo attended The University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry and graduated in May 2003. Dr. Lembo started her own dental practice in Detroit, MI in August 2004 and was very successful for 5 years, prior to moving to Charlotte, NC. She moved with her family to join her sister, Dr. Lindsay S. Montgomery, to fulfill her lifelong dream of practicing dentistry together. Dr. Lembo has two children: Joey 3 years old and Isabel 19 months old, as well as a loving husband, Joe of 10 years. Dr. Lembo enjoys outdoor activities and being with her family.
Dr. Lindsay S. Montgomery attended Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and graduated in May 2003. For five years, she served in the United States Navy as a general dentist at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville. During her service, she deployed overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom providing dental care to military personnel. She was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for her efforts. Dr. Montgomery and her husband Darren of four years moved to the Charlotte area for her to join in private practice with her sister, Dr Kara Lembo, and build their life here in Mooresville. Dr. Montgomery enjoys the outdoors, warm weather Carolinas have to offer, and being with her family.
Dr Lembo and Dr Montgomery hope people in Mooresville and the Lake Norman Area Communities will see them as hard genuine workers, good people, and family. We’re family oriented and enjoy what we do. We try our best to relieve any anxiety one person may have about seeing a dentist. We think we treat our patients like they are part of our family.
The sisters are doing what they love, and together. They have opened a general dental practice offering services to all ages of adults and children. Services that are offered are periodontal treatment, tooth color fillings, digital xrays, smile design, root canal therapy, implant restorations, whitening, veneers, crown & bridge, pediatrics, and oral surgery.
