Dr. Kara Lembo
Dr. Kara K. Lembo grew up in Cedarville, MI and attended Les Cheneaux Community Schools K-12. She worked with her father, John J. Scherer, DDS, who practices dentistry in Cedarville, MI,which is where she found her passion for dentistry through her involvement with patients in her father’s dental practice.
She then went to Central Michigan University for her undergraduate studies in biology and pre-dental. She attended The University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry and graduated in May 2003. Dr. Lembo started her own dental practice in Shelby Township, MI in August 2004 and was very successful for 5 years, prior to moving to Charlotte, NC.
She moved with her family to join her sister, Dr. Lindsay S. Montgomery to fulfill her lifelong dream of practicing dentistry with her sister. Dr. Lembo has two children: Joey 15 years old and Isabel 13 yrs old, as well as a loving and supporting husband, Joe of 23 years. Dr. Lembo enjoys outdoor activities and being with her family.

I started seeing Dr. Montgomery 2 years ago. I knew from the beginning this office was not like the other Dentists I have been too. The office is beautiful, her team is so friendly and Dr. Montgomery is so nice and attentive. She has done many fillings on me over the years and I was at ease the whole time. Most recently she placed 8 crowns, the process was so easy. I can smile again without pain and embarrassment. My 2 year old saw Dr. Montgomery for his first dental visit. He loved her and asks to go back to see her. I am so lucky I found Lembo-Montgomery. They are truly the best!
