Not only are we huge advocates for doing business locally and supporting our local community, as a sister owned and run dental practice in Lake Norman we love supporting women’s issues. Breast Cancer Awareness month is a very special cause for us and the bold, brave and beautiful woman in our office that make it possible for us to be successful as a team.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Founded in 1985 by the American Cancer Society October was designated as Breast Cancer Awareness month. This month is now an annually recognized international health campaign supported by breast cancer charities around the world to raise awareness of breast cancer and raise funds for prevention and treatment research.
October 15 is Breast Cancer Awareness Day and October 16th is National Mammography Day
