Their father, a dentist in Michigan, and their mom, a hygienist, have operated a successful practice together for 37 years. But these role models didn’t force Dr. Kara Lembo and Dr. Lindsay Montgomery as children to pursue dentistry, just excellence, teamwork, and the Golden Rule.
“They taught us their work is all about the patient,” Lindsay says. As two of four siblings, Lindsay and Kara learned teamwork at a very early age. They were encouraged to participate in sports, but they knew how to “leave it on the track.”
“We’ve always been like that,” Lindsay says. “We never did the nasty sister fighting; we have no reason to compete. We just want to help each other succeed.”
